Sinulog 2012

I had an amazing time in Cebu last weekend! It was my first time in the Capital City of the South, and I was intrigued by the different culture they present, although the distinction was a little bit tainted by the fact that half of Manila was present at the time. I didn’t actually get to see the procession or street festival, but I still had a hell of a good time! Got to try Zubu Chon, which I’m guessing is authentic lechon from Cebu. Got to go boating and made new friends, but the best part of all was the street party. Never been to any party that wild! Beer, vodka and rum just spraying everywhere and everyone’s splattering you with paint and jumping up and down to the bass, rain or shine. Truly a wonderful experience, one that I hope to repeat next year!
