This is the outfit I prepared for Close Up Summer Solstice! Going to a 12-hour music festival, I made sure to try and be as “hipster” as I can get myself to look while still looking stylish and remaining comfortable.

image

Nothing says hipster like aztec print, triangles, and feathers! I did plan to try and wear this indian headdress at the festival but it soon proved to be too hot to wear at the already too hot festival.

image

Tribal accessories from around the Philippines, leather bracelet from Folded and Hung. Watch from ASOS.

image

Leather satchel by Coach.

image

Even my sunglasses have aztec print! Sunglasses from ASOS.

image

One of my favorite things about this outfit is that it allows you to see my tattoos!

image

Feather overload!

image

What I’m wearing: tank top, army boots - Topman; leather bracelet, skinny jeans - Folded and Hung; leather satchel - Coach; watch, aztec-print sunglasses, feather necklace - ASOS; tribal bracelets - thrifted; indian headdress - borrowed.

I’m so happy that I went to Close Up Summer Solstice! Haven’t had such a feel-good night of debauchery with my friends in so long, plus I got to listen to some of my favorite artists perform live. I believe my arm is still in shock due to all the fist-pumping!

Thanks to Close Up and Bridges PR for making it happen, and thanks to Yenee for taking my outfit shots!

A European-street style themed look I put together to match my friend’s brand spankin’ new Vespa!

image

Classic piece of Italian transportive genius, right here in the Philippines!

image

I’m going for a “French college student coming back home from a long day of art class” look.

image

Leather shoes by Zara Man.

image

They’re quite easy to ride once you get the hang of ‘em!

image

Customary metal accessories by Topman and Folded and Hung. Watch by Tomato Time.

image

I’m trying to be one with the machine.

image

Seat’s still comfortable in a myriad of positions!

image

Just hipster enough not to annoy anyone.

image

What I’m wearing: feathered cap, skinny jeans, metal bracelet - Folded and Hung; leather shoes - Zara; watch - Tomato Time; cowl-neck top, metal accessories - Topman; denim jacket - thrifted.

Although the denim jacket was a little bit warm, the outfit could be utilised in many a situation. Although a lot of styling kept the Vespa in mind, I also tried to keep with my references and actually wear something that I could (and did) wear out afterwards.

Thanks to Yenee for taking these awesome photos!

imageDecided to wear some bright blues today since the skies have been clearing up and the days have been getting brighter (and sadly, hotter).

imageFrames by Ray-Bans, cap is DC which I incidentally just found lying around my friend’s house before shooting these photos.

imageMy favorite thing about these Puma Streamlines is that the purple leopard print areas are actually furry!

imageI guess I was going for a very hipster look.

imageMetal accessories by Topman, watch by ASOS.

imageWhat I’m wearing: sneakers - Puma; shorts - H&M; metal accessories - Topman; watch, feather necklace - ASOS; frames - Ray-Bans; cap - DC; belt - Folded and Hung; shirt - thrifted in Hong Kong.

I’m not sure what has gotten into me lately but I’ve been wearing a lot of plaid and checkered print. Maybe I’m getting into that countryside vibe? I’m not sure what it is but it has definitely been working out for me so far!

It’s about time to transition from fall/winter wear into spring/summer wear (not like it makes much of a difference since I live in the tropics) so I expect to be sporting shorts and vests more often than not from now on.

Thanks to Yenee and Emilio for helping me take these photos!
